High School Education in
Nova Scotia
Prepare for Excellence in Education
 Education in Nova Scotia is divided into three segments:
Primary to Grade 6, 7 years
Junior High School, Grades 7-9, 3 years
High School, Grades 10-12, 3 years
We welcome international students ages 13 to 18, roughly the age for Grade 7 or 8 through to Grade 12. If you meet the academic and language standards, you will have the opportunity to grow in Nova Scotia's school system. |
