The Acadia Advantage

Acadia is a top-notch research university, but teaching is at the heart of all that we do. Learning at Acadia happens in a stimulating environment that extends beyond our state-of-the-art classrooms into our labs, coffee shops, and spills out into the surrounding campus and community. Students are the primary focus at Acadia, with a student/faculty ratio of 18:1. Our average class has 26 students, which helps to ensure that we maintain an intimate learning environment for and are connected to our students.

The whole school, including residence rooms, is wired and all students receive a Dell laptop for the duration of studies. Technology is integrated across the curriculum. Our students achieve degrees, diplomas, or certificates in the faculties of Arts, Pure and Applied Science, Professional Studies, and at Acadia Divinity College, Divinity, Ministry and Theology.
