Campus Life

Worship

Chapel life at AST and the planning of worship embraces individual and denominational diversity, while celebrating our common life and faith in Christ.  We respect different backgrounds and interests, and we honour the integrity of the various denominational communities that the School serves by encountering a variety of denominational liturgies, as well as experiencing intentionally non-denominational services.

Ecumenical worship takes place on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. On Wednesday, Denominational Day, the three founding traditions, Anglican, Roman Catholic and United Church of Canada celebrate their own liturgies.

Library

AST's Library is part of NOVANET, a consortium of universities in Nova Scotia providing computer access to over one million volumes.  Our Library has a collection of 74,000 books and audio visual materials, making it the largest theological library east of Montreal.
