The Master of Divinity Programme is a three-year professional degree designed for persons preparing for both ordained and lay ministry. In 2000, AST initiated a five-year Master of Divinity programme offered on campus in the summers and via Internet in the fall and winter terms.

The Master of Theological Studies Programme is a two-year degree for persons who seek a basic introduction to the area of theology primarily as an academic discipline. It is also a programme suitable for those who already have a vocation and desire a foundation in the theological disciplines for their main area of work or research.

The Graduate Certificate in Theological Studies is a ten-credit academic programme at the basic degree level that may be completed on the AST campus or via the Internet. It can parallel the first year of degree programme studies and serve as a time of discernment for further academic or professional studies.
